East China Normal University (ECNU), founded in 1951, is one of China’s most prestigious and comprehensive universities. Located in Shanghai, it is directly administered by the Ministry of Education and jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Education and the Shanghai Municipal Government. - Language Proficiency Certificate for Bachelor : The students who apply for the program of English for overseas students or programs in the School of International Chinese Studies or programs in the School of Design should have HSK-4 with a passing score of 180 or above, and HSK-5 with a passing score of 180 or above is required for other Chinese-taught programs. Applicants of English-taught programs from non-English native speaking countries should have IELTS (6.0 or above) / TOEFL (85 or above) / Cambridge English (B2 or above) certificate.
